After you set the paper of your choice on the heart shape favor.....

Untitled by donnabezares

Position the ribbons (see photo) and set with hot glue, Paper rose is set, on top of the ribbons (as shown) using hot glue .

After, I applied the Crown stamp...

I centered my Letter, and adhered to the center, I (did not measure), In my personal opinion, small imperfections add to the charm, of a lovely hand crafted favor.

Another Version Of Party Favor

Here, I used pinking shears to cut out 2 circles. And applied a small square of double sided foam tape on the back of each circle. I used a glue stick to adhere the gold initial in the center. of the circle. As shown, here this favor was embellished with colorful buttons. I love to use buttons in craft projects, because they look charming and they are very inexpensive.

These are the Gold alphabet letters , they are a very cost effective option

I usually take the names of guest attending and make one favor with the child (guest) initial and write on the back of the favor , Thank You for attending , Katie or Madison's , Birthday party. One year I used a similar party favor as the party invitation, I just used a rubber Stamp on the back. . We usually , set aside a day for crafting, and my Daughter and grand children trace , cut and paste. So this, is also a great opportunity to spend time with the children.

On a previous post I mentioned that I was going to share a few photos of My Dear friend Chris Cruz’s’ home. Chris’s home is beautifully decorated in a “California Coastal Chic Style.” White shag pillows and pearl seashell pillows create a lovely balance of texture and softness against the silver grey sofa.

The Last of The Hydrangeas...

As, the hydrangeas change colors, I cut them and place them in a container of water, and snip the stem just a bit. when I change the water, I also make certain to cut all the leaves off before I place them in the container of water and wait, until the petals dry. I will use them throughout my home, in floral arrangements, Wreaths. Etc...

In the event they do not retain all their color.I purchase a can of floral spray in a nice rich Fall color. And it works out very well. I will share some dried Hydrangea Ideas in a future post.

Dollar tree candles, I purchased 3 of the plain style..

Via Flickr:
Some time ago, while My friend Christine and I, were at the flea market. we found these candles embellished with " an Audry Hepburn motif ", And I thought I would try my rendition of the candles. And share the process with you.

On A Previous Post, I mentioned that I use sheet music , for many Projects...

This is one of the projects . And it is very simple, First I cut along all 4 sides of the sheet, with pinking shears. Decide what Image or Motif you would like to use for your candle, I chose a black rub on transfer for one and a Bird's nest and Cherub for the other 2 candles.

Take the music sheet and wrap it around the candle, to measure. and trim the excess.

This is the cherub image and a few of the trims I used on one of the candle projects.

I purchased the Black rub on transfers and the gold monogram stickers at Michaels as well.

Apply glue to the back of the candle.

Last step, I used hot glue to adhere my trim around the top and bottom of the candle.
