As, the hydrangeas change colors, I cut them and place them in a container of water, and snip the stem just a bit. when I change the water, I also make certain to cut all the leaves off before I place them in the container of water and wait, until the petals dry. I will use them throughout my home, in floral arrangements, Wreaths. Etc...
In the event they do not retain all their color.I purchase a can of floral spray in a nice rich Fall color. And it works out very well. I will share some dried Hydrangea Ideas in a future post.
